The best bistro in Utrecht! Unfortunately during the weekend a lot of noise inside due to the bad acoustics.

Delicious dishes and good service except for one minus. The wine with the main course arrived way too late and in an almost hot glass. Eventually fine and the glass of wine was not on the bill. Despite the Corona, the 1.5 meter was hard to find. Just full bin.

Had higher expeditions of this restaurant given the recommendations. The service was off e.g. servers throwing plates without telling us what we were about to eat. We had the 5-course meal which was nice but not worth the price unfortunately. At table we were seated we could hardly hear each other due to mediocre acoustics. Overall a 3/5. Personally, not a restaurant I would visit again given our experience.

Great food, for a nice price and good staff. Unfortunately we were there on a weekend day, and it was so busy that we couldn't understand each other and had the feeling of being in a pub. The acoustics are really bad. This kind of ruined the experience for us. We also had high tables, which was not nice. A pity, because the food is so good !!

The food is very good. The place is nice, it has atmosphere . The price is a bit on the expensive side. A 3-courser would cost 45--50 eur depending how.much and what you drink.

As mentioned in other reviews: what a noise! Some may call it - with some right - pleasantly busy. The food is offered with great pretension and served by a quick wait staff who sometimes seems to know nothing about it and because of the price you tend to find it all fantastic. But actually there was no smell or smell to the food. The wine was also so, despite, again, the price. With more than 3 people lost more than 200 euros. For that or for less you go elsewhere with flapping taste buds.

Very good service. wine very tasty, and my pot roast super tender. But ... quite a bad place while we had booked well in advance. And if you order pheasant and there is almost more duck liver and black pudding on your plate without it being mentioned on the menu, then that is surely a 'surprise'. the duck's stomach with the starter was delicious, but this was too much. The cook didn't seem to put it on the menu because otherwise people often don't order it. I find a rather crooked thought. Because now one of us two has not eaten so well. We did not return it. Tjsa, his theory went that far. But after a few bites, you have had the intense taste of this pheasant dish and you're done with it. Next time I will first ask what is not on the menu this time. But as said, super tender, good service and delicious wine.

Food quality so and so, definitely below the michelin status they display. Maybe it's ok for dutch standards, not for international ones. Portions are a bit funny, tastes a bit mixed, they want to try too hard. The worse aspect is the service, not careful, not caring, amateuristic. We told them about ingredients to avoid, they didn't care at all. 1 hr to get 2 basic starters, 3.5 hours for the dinner. Bread served at the beginning, took away with the starters (!!) Ok it was busy on Saturday, but it's way too much. Noisy. I won't come back

Food is excellent, a lot of vegetables and a good choice of vegetarian dishes. Atmosphere nice. Very busy though- reservation needed or waiting over an hour. It's noisy, conversation between more than two people is not possible.

Fabulous food that was so impressive and sensibly priced. You'll need to reserve a table to get in and this was on a Wednesday. Staff are really great and so on their game. Top place.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere and surroundings were beautiful. The dishes and the restaurant were nicely laid out and the service was friendly. The dietary requirements were not fully met, unfortunately, so I got something with cheese / lactose, which we solved ourselves without any problems. All desserts were incredibly yummy !!

Great place to have a tasty bite. The dinner menu is changing everyday. The chef's surprise menu was just amazing. Prepare yourself to be swept away with a slight touch of haute cuisine. Delicious meal, cozy atmosphere in the heart of Utrecht (just the next street to the Utrecht cathedral). Very recommended to enjoy with a group of friends.

A French bistro about a 10-minute walk from Utrecht Station. We discover Michelin mark (plate) and enter a store. Sour sauce for bread. Amuse hot soup with green onions. The herb works and it is delicious. Very thin sliced ​​salami is also good saltiness. Three people took one plate at a time and shared it, but all are delicious. The virtue of dessert Madeleine was a wonderful thing I had never eaten.

It was a busy night and the service was slow, probably understaffed and/or overcapacity. The food was good, but small portions for that price point. I hear it's normally better, but I'll have to go back to see it. It was okay.

Tasteful and atmospheric! Good atmosphere and nice contact with the ministry. Table by the window. The food was delicious. Duck well prepared. Have ordered extra fries because in our opinion the garnish was a bit scanty.

Delicious eaten in this cozy Bistro. Breton black pudding, main course Reebout deliciously soft meat with delicious star anise sauce. Nice service, good wine advice Dessert chocolate with a 10 year old port. As the last guests left. Recommended.

You can enjoy great meals at Madeleine. The wine menu is also quite diverse with good bottles from many countries in different price ranges. While the restaurant was very crowded, the service was still relatively fast. The starters are tasteful and have a good size

Very nice environment warm and cozy fealing when you wake in the first place you gaze is the amazing free baked bread witch is a very nice touch. The staff was very good and friendly great selection of wines and beers. The food was great we had the steak tartar and the lobster ravioli and the chicory and jurusalem artichokes vegetarian dish. Very tasty an excellent meal and to finish we had the puff pastry with hazelnut cream and caramelized chestnuts. Five out of five.

Cosy and charming restaurant with very good food.

Good food and nice wine, general atmosphere at this place is also nice. Power went out thrice so it became dining in the dark.

lovely cosy french restaurant in the city center. You will be welcomed with red neon lights, a simple clean menu.

Great place French bistro style with great service. Nice wines and I reccommend the small whole chicken from the farm. Cooked to perfection. Also very nice gin tonics Hendricks gin with fever tree tonic hmmmmm
